pensi pascual is an architecture practice based in Barcelona. Working through a site-specific approach, each project is conceived as a precise response to its environmental context, programmatic complexity, and economic conditions, understanding architecture as a form of tailor-made design. Experimentation and research are embedded in every project, extending to its material, compositional, and functional configuration. Each work is approached as a specific exploration, seeking solutions that are at once timeless, contemporary, and radical.

Pol Pensi and Arnau Pascual studied at ETSAB (UPC) and met while working at Josep Lluís Mateo’s practice. After developing their careers across different disciplines—including architectural design, academia, curatorial work, and publishing—they began working together in 2023. Today, both maintain a continuous dialogue between practice and academia, teaching at ETSALS (URL) and ETSAB (UPC). Their work spans different scales and fields—from architecture and interior design to curatorial practice, temporary installations, and academic research—and is grounded in the relationship between culture and construction.
